I’ve Said Yes…WHAT DO I DO NOW?!

seem overwhelming and confusing! So you begin your journey…

You have purchased the most popular bridal magazines, a few books written on the subject.
You have received advice from your mother, sister or the many friends who have most recently
said "I DO".

I too planned my own wedding, and as a professional, I would like to give you some sound
advice on planning your own wedding...

DON’T!!!

All women dream about their wedding day from the time they are little girls, and most have
envisioned that day and of how they would like that fairy tale to play out. Back to reality…busy
schedules and lack of time make it difficult for the bride to do everything that is necessary to
make her dream wedding come true. Wedding planning takes on a life of it's own, and truly can
become another full time job .

Wedding planning is all about the details.  You want to be able to relax and enjoy the moment
on your special day.  It's extremely difficult to be the bride, the daughter, the director, and the
consultant all in one. You don't want to worry about time lines and the proper flow!

This is why every bride deserves a wedding planner!

It is a fallacy to think that only the wealthy can afford a consultant.

A consultant should be able to save you money and many costly mistakes in the long run.
Because they plan many events they have the contacts and relationships developed to know
who is reliable, provides quality work and won't disappoint you on the day of the wedding.

Everyone has a budget!  The consultant can work with the bride and her family to select and
coordinate all the services necessary to ensure that this will be a most joyous occasion.
Finding a ceremony site, reception site, music for both the ceremony and the celebration after,
photographer, delicious cakes, flowers, make up, invitations, hair and most important the
dress are all critical tasks that need to be handled.

There are many ways to utilize a wedding consultant.

~From the moment you get engaged till you leave for your honeymoon.
~The weekend of the wedding
~Just "the day of", so that you and your family are able to be in the moment and enjoy the
occasion
~Hourly consultation to get you started.

A wedding consultant can play many roles in helping assist the bride in creating that moment
in time. There are many capable, qualified professionals available to produce a beautiful
wedding but finding that right person is extremely important. You will be spending a great deal
of time with the consultant so you want to make sure that this individual has the ability to listen,
has the expertise, and the commitment to produce a memorable event for you.

Even if you have already begun your planning and now realize you are in over your head we can
assist you!
