My name is Angela Wright Pineda, and I am the owner of Cakes Divine and Cupcakes Divine.  As a young child growing up in the Houston area, my
best friend's mother was a pastry chef. I learned from her as well as Wilton, and many famous cake artists who offered workshops over the years.  My
first cakery was called Cakes, Etc. that I opened in 1986.  I changed the name to Cakes Divine in 2000.  And recently  God led me here; to the Texas
Hill Country.  My business is named in the honor of his glory, as my talent in cake & culinary artistry come from him.

I have worked for years perfecting my cake & icing recipes.  My cakes are extremely moist, and my icings compliment the cake flavor without
overpowering it.  My mother, who never liked cake icing, and would  scrape it off and just eat the cake, will sit down eat a bowl full of my buttercream
just like ice cream.  And I promise it isn't just because she is my mother...she is my biggest critic!  If it isn't good she will let me know.

My baking techniques for ultimate moist cakes was published in Cooking Pleasures Magazine, in the December 2004 issue.

I pride myself in the quality of product I offer my clients.  Nothing is worse to a client than to have tons of left over cake due to it being too dry,
flavorless, and way too sweet on the icing.

In 2009 I placed 2nd out of hundreds of entries in the cake tasting competition at the Austin Cake Show with my Thin Mint cake.

I am sure you will enjoy your own personal masterpiece created by Cakes Divine.
